It sits level with your mattress
Nothing to fix in place
The V-shaped foot lies flat on the base of your bed, under the mattress. The weight of the mattress holds it in place, so nothing needs fixing and no screw goes into your bed.
Five notches per upright
The upright runs straight up along the head of your bed. The support plate clicks into one of the five notches, and that sets the height the cushion sits at. Try the buttons under the drawing.
30 cm of frame plus 8 cm of cushion
The plate sits beside your mattress, at the same height, not on top of it. That keeps your head in line with your body. At its highest setting the set comes to about 38 centimetres.
No fixed size
The thicker your mattress, the higher the plate sits in the notches. With a thin mattress it sits lower and the upright stands above it; that is beside your head, so there is room for it.
