Ezspa cares about your privacy. Below you can read which data we process, why we do it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

Who processes your data

Which data, what for and how long

Your order

Name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number and what you ordered.

Why: to perform the purchase agreement, deliver your order and keep our books.
Legal basis: performance of the agreement, and for the bookkeeping a legal obligation.
Retention period: seven years, because the Dutch tax authority requires that of us.

Your payment

Payment runs via our payment service provider. We see whether a payment succeeded, but we do not get to see full card or account details.

Why: to process your payment.
Legal basis: performance of the agreement.
Retention period: seven years for the bookkeeping.

Contact with customer service

Your name, email address and the content of your message.

Why: to answer your question and to be able to look back at what was agreed.
Legal basis: performance of the agreement, or our legitimate interest in providing good service.
Retention period: two years after the last contact.

Your review

The name you give, your rating and the text you write, and whether we have your order on record.

Why: to show your review with the product and to be able to show that it comes from a real buyer.
Legal basis: your consent.
Retention period: until you ask us to remove the review.

The newsletter

Your email address, and whether you open our emails.

Why: to send you offers and news.
Legal basis: your consent.
Retention period: until you unsubscribe. You can do that with the link at the bottom of every email, or by emailing us.

Your visit to the website

IP address, browser type, which pages you look at and which page you arrive from and leave by.

Why: to make the website work, to trace faults and to understand what visitors are looking for.
Legal basis: for necessary cookies our legitimate interest, for all other cookies your consent.
Retention period: see the retention period per cookie in your cookie settings.

Who receives your data

We do not sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us fulfil the order, and only what is needed for that:

• Shopify, the platform this shop runs on and where your order is processed.
• Our payment service provider, who handles your payment.
• The carrier that delivers your parcel. They get your name, address and usually your email address or phone number for the delivery notification.
• 17TRACK, the service behind our parcel tracking page. If you enter a tracking number there, that number goes to that service.
• Our email software, for sending the newsletter and order emails.
• Our review software, if you leave a review.
• Google and TikTok, for measuring website use and showing advertisements. This only happens if you give permission for it in the cookie bar.

We have made agreements with these parties about how your data is handled. Beyond that, we only provide data if the law obliges us to.

Data outside the European Union

Some of these parties are based outside the EU. Shopify is a Canadian company with servers and offices in the United States among other places. 17TRACK is based in Asia, and Google and TikTok process data partly outside the EU. Standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or an equivalent safeguard, apply to those transfers.

If you would rather your tracking number did not go to 17TRACK, use the tracking link in your dispatch email or follow your parcel directly with the carrier.

Cookies

We use cookies to make the website work, to remember what is in your basket and to measure how the website is used. For cookies that are not strictly necessary we ask your permission in advance. You can change or withdraw that permission at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of the website.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• see your data and get a copy of it;
• have incorrect data corrected;
• have your data deleted, unless we are legally required to keep it;
• have the processing restricted;
• receive or transfer your data in a common file format;
• object to processing based on a legitimate interest;
• withdraw consent you have given, for the newsletter or for cookies for example.

Email your request to info@ezspa.nl. We reply within a month. To prevent us giving data to the wrong person, we may ask you to send your request from the email address you ordered with.

Filing a complaint

If you disagree with how we handle your data, let us know first. If we cannot resolve it between us, you can file a complaint with the data protection authority in your own country. You can also turn to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Security

Our website works over a secure connection. Only the people who need your data to handle your order can reach it. If you suspect something is wrong with the security of your data, email us straight away.

Changes

When we change something in this privacy policy, we put the new version on this page.
